County of Grande Prairie looking for people to sit on boards and committees

The County of Grande Prairie is looking for people to sit on some of its boards and committees.

Those include the Agricultural Service Board, Agriculture Appeal Committee, County Library Board, Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, Joint Assessment Review Board, County Recreation Board and the Historic Resources Committee.

Applications are open until September 30.

Application forms and more information are available on the County’s web site.

In a release from the County, Reeve Leanne Beaupre says “The contributions we receive from the individuals who serve on these various bodies are invaluable. They bring forward different perspectives from the community, and the time they invest provides Council a much greater ability to make well-rounded decisions.”
