Fort St. John RCMP looking for witnesses after woman heard screaming and seen running down the street

Fort St. John RCMP are looking for witnesses to an incident where a woman was heard screaming and seen running down the street.

Police say it happened at around 3:17 p.m. B.C. time on September 8 near 89 Street and 87 Avenue in Fort St. John. Mounties think she was being chased by someone they describe as an “unknown male.”

RCMP say it looks like she had injuries to her face. She was wearing a black dress at the time.
