Hythe man killed in vehicle rollover south of Beaverlodge

A 29-year-old Hythe man has died following a vehicle rollover south of Beaverlodge on Thursday.

At around 12:20 p.m. on October 1, Beaverlodge RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call about a single vehicle rollover on Highway 722, about five kilomteres south of the town.

RCMP responded alongside fire and EMS crews, where an investigation showed a pick-up truck was driving northbound before going off the road and rolling into the ditch. The driver, and lone occupant of the vehicle, was ejected.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP say the name of the victim, or further details on the incident, will not be provided.
