Westpointe family displaced after fire causes significant damage to their home

Damage is estimated at around $125,000 after a house fire in the Westpointe neighbourhood on Saturday night.

City fire crews were called to the scene at around 7:30 pm.

The fire was prevalent in both the home and the attached garage by time fire fighters arrived on the scene.

However they were able to knock it down quickly and keep it from spreading to neighbouring properties.
