No injuries in Crystal Ridge home fire

No injuries were reported after a fire broke out at a home in Crystal Ridge Friday evening, which caused damage to multiple homes.
The Grande Prairie Fire Department was called out to reports of the blaze just after 6 p.m., where smoke and flames were seen to be coming from the back end of the home and a shed. Officials say the fire was held to the original home, though numerous other homes in the surrounding area received heat damage from the flames.
Though there were no injuries, the fire department says the occupants of the home have been displaced.
The fire is currently under investigation.
