Wolverines return favour to Storm in pre-season rematch

The AJHL co-hort preseason series between the Grande Prairie Storm and the Whitecourt Wolverines has been dominated by the visiting team so far.

After dropping a 4-2 decision on their home ice on Friday, the Wolverines returned the favour to the Storn on Saturday, beating the home side 6-3.

The line of Max Giangualano, Austin Schellenberg and Cole Broadhurst combined for six points on the evening, with Broadhurst and Giangualano each getting a goal and an assist, while Schellenberg chipped in with two helpers.

Ty Toews had the other goal for the Storm, who trailed 1-0 after the first and 4-3 after two periods.

John Chambers made 35 saves in the Storm net.

The Storm and Wolverines will continue their preseason series on Friday night at Revolution Place.
