RCMP investigating livestock shootings in Lac Ste. Anne County

Parkland RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating suspects responsible for killing and injuring cattle in Lac St. Anne County.

Mounties says that between September 4 and October 11, three separate occurrences were reported to the Parkland RCMP and the RCMP Livestock Section. The unknown suspects shot and killed,or injured, cattle belonging to a beef producer in the County.

Over the last month, two of the animals were killed and a third animal was seriously injured.

Police do not believe that these actions were accidental and say that they were targeted attacks. Authorities add these cattle are worth over $10,000.
