Fairview Flyers announce positive case of COVID-19

The North West Junior Hockey League’s Fairview Flyers have announced that on October 26 a member of the Flyers organization had tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement on the Flyers Facebook page, the organization says that they have been diligently working to ensure that players and coaches in direct contact with the positive case are self isolating and getting tested.

The Flyers added that the team did cancel their practice Monday night and are ensuring the public that they have a handle on the situation.

For now, the organization has cancelled their games for this weekend to prevent any potential cases or spread of the virus.

The club adds that it will be evaluating a timeline on when the team will be allowed to resume activity.
