Storm announce extension of exhibition schedule

The Grande Prairie Storm will play four more exhibition games over the course of the next two weeks.

The exhibition schedule will continue Friday and Saturday. The Storm will host the Fort McMurray Oil Barons at Revolution Place. The following weekend, Grande Prairie will travel to Olds to face the Grizzlys for a pair of games on November 6 and 7.

So far in the pre-season, the Storm have a record of 2-2 and played Whitecourt in all four games.

The schedule is as followed:

October 30 – Oil Barons @ Storm – 7:00 p.m.

October 31 – Oil Barons @ Strom – 2:00 p.m.

November 6 – Storm @ Grizzlys – 7:00 p.m.

November 7 – Storm @ Grizzlys – 2:00 p.m.

All of the games have been approved by Alberta Health Service.

It will also be the first time that AJHL teams are allowed to leave their two-team cohorts to travel and play other teams around the league.

It is not yet known if fans will be allowed in the stands. So far in the games that the Storm have hosted, 100 people have been allowed inside to watch.
