A suspect has been arrested in connection with a year-old homicide investigation.
RCMP say 27-year-old Darcy Lane Joseph Weesemat of Atikameg has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The charges result from the October 20, 2019 death of 35-year-old Christopher Lyle Cunningham of High Prairie.
Cunningham was found dead along a road in Atikameg First Nation.
Weesemat is due in High Prairie Provincial Court on Monday.
