Staircase to Muskoseepi Park at 103 Ave. removed for sewer repair work

The City of Grande Prairie has removed the staircase leading to Muskoseepi Park from 103 Avenue near St. Joseph’s Catholic Church to the basketball courts in order to access and repair a sanitary sewer line.

The repair work is temporary, and a new permanent sewer line will be installed in 2021 as part of the City’s 103 Avenue Slope and Road Rehabilitation capital project.

The staircase will be replaced with a new paved trail access point as part of that capital project as well.
