One person dead after rollover near Little Buffalo

Peace Regional RCMP say a 24-year-old woman from Cadotte Lake is dead after an SUV with five people inside rolled near Little Buffalo.

Mounties were called out to the crash on Highway 986 just after 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the SUV was heading west when it went off the road and into the north ditch, where it rolled.

The woman killed was a passenger in the vehicle. RCMP say the driver and another passenger had critical injuries and were taken to hospital. Another passenger was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the remaining passenger was treated on scene.

Names of those involved will not be released. RCMP say the investigation continues.
