The Alberta Government is reporting seven new deaths, two of which are people from the North Zone, and 672 new cases of COVID-19 in the province.

The two people who died in the North Zone were a woman in her 70s, and a male in his 90s who is linked to the Mayerthrope Extended Care outbreak.

Two deaths were also recorded in the Calgary Zone, and the other three came from the Edmonton Zone, bringing Alberta’s COVID-19 death toll up to 383.

There are now 217 Albertans in hospital due to the novel coronavirus, 46 of whom are in intensive care.

The numbers released by the province are limited due to the Remembrance Day holiday, and a more detailed update will be given tomorrow.
