Crouse’s Cleaners named top 15 cleaning business in the world by 2020 Global Best Practices Award Program

Crouse’s Cleaners, a local Grande Prairie business was named one of the top 15 best industrial cleaners in the world at the 2020 Global Best Practices Awards.

“One of our consultants had nominated us and then we ended up filling out an application to apply, there was 125 applications,” explained David Crouse, the Operations Manager of Crouse’s Cleaners.

Crouse tells EverythingGP that his company has been climbing the award ladder for a while.

“This was actually our third time that we received one of the top spaces. We had made one of the top 100 cleaners four years ago, and two years ago we made the top 20 industrial cleaners and this time we made the top 15 for industrial cleaners.”

Crouse says that the applications submitted by each company were reviewed by a panel of 19 judges from around the world.

“They make their final nominations of the top and then last Thursday, we had three minutes to give a presentation about our business. The panel then judges the presentations, along with their scores from the applications themselves and then they make some final scores and give out some awards.”

While Crouse and his company didn’t take home any of the major prizes, he says it’s a major honour to still be recognized.

“It’s an insane level to compete at, if we do win an award in the future, it’s a pretty big deal.”

The global business awards are held once every two years. This year they were supposed to be handed out in Amsterdam, however, was moved virtually because of COVID-19.
