For the second straight night, the Bonnyville Pontiacs were the better team un a matchup against the Grande Prairie Storm.

The difference on Saturday night is that the Pontiacs were able to find a way to put some pucks behind Storm netminder Garin Bjorklund.

Kash Rasmussen, Jaden York and Matthew McKim all scored, while Easton Hesse made 28 saves as the Pontiacs blanked the Storm 3-0 to earn a split of their season opening weekend series.

Bjorklund was outstanding once again for the Storm, kicking aside 36 shots.
