Coyote makes way into Prairie Mall Wednesday

The Prairie Mall had a four-legged visitor today.

A mall spokesperson says a coyote snuck inside Wednesday afternoon when someone opened the door on the south side of the mall, before walking into the Shoppers Drug Mart.

Mall security called in Fish and Wildlife to remove the animal. Officers caught the animal using a collar similar to one that would be used on a stray dog and took it away.

No one was hurt.
