County, Regional Enforcement Services launch Christmas Diaper Drive
The County of Grande Prairie and its Regional Enforcement Services team are collecting disposable diapers, baby supplies and cash donations for residents in need this holiday season.
Starting on November 26, libraries across the County will begin accepting donations for the first-ever Diaper Drive.
“Babies can use up to 70 diapers a week and that would be a significant cost to struggling families,” explained Lindsey Hennigar, one of the main organizers of the Diaper Drive and a Peace Officer with the County of Grande Prairie.
“Diapers and baby change supplies are essential products for young children in our community and we’re pleased to help collect these goods.”
