RCMP search for suspect in Fort Vermillion break and enter

Fort Vermillion RCMP is asking the public for tips on the whereabouts of a suspect wanted in connection to an alleged break and enter and theft.

At 9:26 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, Fort Vermillion RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter and theft from the office of the Sheridan Lawrence Hotel. During the investigation, mounties obtained surveillance footage of the incident, which showed the suspect breaking into the office and stealing cash.

Through the video, the RCMP were able to identify the suspect, and issue an arrest warrant for Jarrett Ducharme on a charge of Break and Enter with intent to commit theft under $5,000.

Ducharme, a 25 year old from Fort Vermillion, is described as being 5’9″ tall, weighing 165 lbs, with brown eyes and mixed colour hair.

Ducharme is known to frequent the Fort Vermillion and High Level areas, and anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Vermillion RCMP at 780-927-3255, or the local police.
