UPDATE: Snowfall warning ended in Grande Prairie

UPDATE (4:45 p.m.): The snowfall warning for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area has ended.

A snowfall warning has been issued for the Grande Prairie area Thursday morning, as well as in the Beaverlodge and Valleyview areas.

Environment Canada says heavy snow is expected to continue until Thursday afternoon, with between 10 to 15 centimetres falling by the time it stops.

“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”

The snowfall warning in the central and north Peace region, including Peace River and Fairview, has been continued from Wednesday.
