North and central Peace could see additional 10-20 cm of snowfall by Saturday

Environment Canada says the Peace River, Fairview, Manning and High Prairie areas could see another 10-20 cm of snow by Saturday morning, as a snowfall warning has been put in place for the forecast area.

The weather office says light snow will fall throughout the day with between two to five centimetres expected by this afternoon. They then expect the snow to intensify this evening, with an additional 10 to 15 cm expected by Saturday morning.

Environment Canada says the heaviest snow is expected south of High Level.
