Fog advisory in place for Grande Prairie area

UPDATE: All fog advisories have been lifted in northwestern Alberta

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the Grande Prairie-Beaverlodge-Valleyview forecast area

The weather office says areas of dense fog are expected to persist until early Sunday afternoon in the area, and that travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

Environment Canada issues fog advisories when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.

A fod advisory remains in place for areas north of Grande Prairie, including Peace River, High Prairie, Manning and High Level.
