Two flights impacted

Dec. 19 flights to and from Grande Prairie flagged for potential COVID-19 exposure

Two flights tied to the Grande Prairie Airport earlier this month have been flagged by Health Canada as having potential COVID-19 exposures.

Those seated in rows 13-19 on WestJet flight WS3189 from Calgary to Grande Prairie on December 19 are being asked to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

Those on board Air Canada flight AC8476 from Grande Prairie to Calgary on that same day are also being asked to self-monitor for symptoms. The affected rows are listed as “unknown” by Health Canada.

As for international flights into Alberta, over the last 14 days there have been 10 flights into Calgary with potential exposures. Four have come from Denver, three from Dallas, two from Phoenix and one from Amsterdam.
