Aquatera Christmas tree curbside collection set to begin January 11

Starting on January 11, Aquatera will begin collecting natural Christmas trees as part of their annual Christmas Tree Curbside Collection program.

Grande Prairie residents are asked to place their tree one metre away from their landfill cart by 7:00 a.m. on collection day.

Anyone planning to dispose of a tree is asked to cut it down to no longer than four feet, so workers can avoid any potential hazards. Residents are also reminded to remove any ornaments or decorations from the tree.

Aquatera says residents have until January 29 to dispose of their trees.
