Grande Prairie businesses can now apply for a Digital Marketing Training program

The final round of the in-depth Digital Marketing Training program is set to run next month, and businesses wishing to access the training can now apply.

The program was developed through a partnership of the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce, both the City and County of Grande Prairie, Community Futures Grande Prairie and Region, and nine10.

The Digital Marketing Training program is designed to assist businesses in the region impacted by COVID-19 develop and execute their own digital marketing strategies. It will provide businesses with knowledge and practical training in digital content strategy, web design tools, social media, and search engine optimization.

The program is split into three cohorts. Businesses accepted into the first two cohorts will represent various sectors including accounting, mechanical repair, retail, personal care & health services, construction, food & beverage, and oil & gas service.

The third cohort will be hosted in a virtual format to streamline the training while following provincial public health guidelines. A number of online tools and platforms will be used to ensure the training is translated into hands-on experience.

Space in the program is limited, and the deadline to apply is January 22. A link to the application can be found here.

The Digital Marketing Training program will run from February 8 to March 31.
