Final week for entry to the Dream Home Lottery’s Loyalty Draw

The deadline for people to have their names entered into the Rotary Dream Home Loyalty Draw is midnight on Tuesday, January 26.

Those who purchase tickets for the Dream Home Lottery prior to the cutoff date will have their names added to the draw, which goes on Friday, January 29.

The winner of the Loyalty Draw will win free gas for a year, courtesy of the New Horizon Co-Op.

Entrants will also have their names entered into the Early Bird draws.

The Dream Home 50-50 cash jackpot has also passed the $150,000 mark, and the winner of that draw will split the money with a number of groups and organizations who have partnered with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie to fund the programs and services they run in the community.

The Dream Home is not open to the public in-person this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Raffle Manager Melissa Coloumbe says people can view the house virtually.

“It’s been different, but we do have our 3D tour online that’s been very popular, a lot of people have been using it to take a virtual tour through the home,” says Coloumbe.

“We’ve been trying to ensure we’re showing the home well through photography and different angles, and just trying to give people the best look we possibly can inside until we’re able to open.”

The Dream Home Lottery tickets are available until April 26, unless tickets sell out before, and the winner will be drawn in May.
