While the AJHL season is on hold for now, Storm Head Coach and General Manager Mike Vandekamp is continuing to add to his lineup for next season.

The Storm announced that forward Cooper Chisholm and defenceman Brett Ward have each signed Letters of Intent to play for the club starting next season.

Chisholm is a six-foot, 170-pound forward who will join the Storm from the Estevan Bears of the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey League.

So far this season, the 17-year-old from Weyburn, Saskatchewan has registered six points in six games for the Bears. In the 2019-20 season, he had 17 points in 40 games for the Prince Albert Mintos of the same AAA league.

Ward, a defenceman from Spruce Grove, comes to the Storm having registered one point in four games for the U18 AAA Fort Saskatchewan Rangers this season.

Prior to his time in Fort Saskatchewan, he spent the 2019-20 season with the U16 AAA Parkland Athletic Club Saints, where he was able to tally 15 points in 35 games. Ward is six-foot-three and 180 pounds.

In a statement, the Storm said they would like to welcome both players to the club and look forward to seeing them in Storm uniforms in the near future.
