RCMP continue investigation into hooded man incident at Grimshaw Post Office

The Peace Regional RCMP say they believe they have identified the individual who was spotted outside the Canada Post Office in Grimshaw earlier this month, wearing what resembled a hood similar to those worn by members of the Klu Klux Klan, and that an investigation remains ongoing

Police in the community say they initiated an investigation into the incident after it was reported to them on January 8, while the photo also quickly made the rounds on social media.

“Following several investigative steps, Peace Regional RCMP believe to have identified the individual involved in this incident,” reads a release from the RCMP. “The Peace Regional RCMP’s investigation remains active and all information has been presented to the Office of the Crown Prosecution for review and opinion.
