WATCH: Dr. Hinshaw to provide update on COVID-19 Friday

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw is set to provide an update on COVID-19 in the province at 3:30 Friday afternoon. It is also being reported that Premier Jason Kenney may also appear alongside Hinshaw to possibly announce the lifting of some public health measures in the province.

CBC News is reporting the government is planning to lift some restrictions, including allowing restaurants to reopen for in-person dining and gyms to reopen with limited capacity.
