COVID-19 case identified at Beaverlodge Regional High School

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) says a third case of COVID-19 has been identified at Beaverlodge Regional High School.

The individual had last attended school on Tuesday, January 26. On Monday, February 1, after the individual tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the school and Alberta Health Services worked together to inform close contacts of the results.

Close contacts have been asked to isolate until Wednesday, February 10, and remote learning opportunities will be available during their isolation.

PWPSD says the school has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and that students and staff not identified as close contacts can return to in-class learning.
