COVID-19 case confirmed at Clairmont Community School

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division says in a release issued Saturday evening that a single case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in an individual from the school.

The division says the individual last attended the school on Wednesday, February 3. School administration communicated the information to families and staff on Saturday, after learning about the positive test result and receiving direction from AHS.

The identified close contacts must isolate at home until Thursday, February 18, says the division, and that anyone who has not been identified as a close contact can return to school on Monday for in-person classes.
