Extreme Cold forces changes to Family Festivities in the Park schedule

The extreme cold has led the City of Grande Prairie to alter some of the plans for its Family Festivities in the Park, which is planned for Saturday and Sunday at Muskoseepi Park.
Snow luge, snowman kits, and children’s activities have all been cancelled for this weekend.
Tobogganing, snow-shoeing, and skating remain scheduled, at participant’s own discretion.
The city asks that participants currently registered and who are planning on attending for tobogganing and skating to still check-in at the Ernie Radbourne Pavillion for their timeslot.
