Grande Prairie’s Edwards named USHL Defenceman of the Week

Grande Prairie’s Ethan Edwards has been named the U.S. Hockey League’s Defenceman of the Week.

Edwards plays for the Sioux City Musketeers and had a point in each of his team’s victories as the Musketeers won three of their four games. He now has 12 points in 29 games.

Edwards was picked in the fourth round by New Jersey in the 2020 NHL draft. He played last season with Spruce Grove of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Edwards has committed to the University of Michigan for next season.
