Nedohin heading to Scotties as coach

Feb 18, 2021 | 1:24 PM

The Scotties Tournament of Hearts starts Friday inside the bubble at Calgary’s Markin MacPhail Centre and a Peace Country product will be there as a coach.

Heather Nedohin will be the coach for Kerri Einarson’s Team Canada.

Nedohin is originally from Fort St. John and skipped her team to a World Junior Curling Championship in 1996 while curling out of Grande Prairie.

The defending champions play one of the wild card teams skipped by Mackenzie Zacharias in Draw 1. Laura Walker’s Team Alberta will play Nova Scotia in the opening draw.

Those games start at 6:30 Alberta time Friday night.
