Aspen Grove School placed under COVID-19 alert status

Aspen Grove School in Grande Prairie has been placed under a COVID-19 alert status by Alberta Health, meaning that between two and four cases have been identified within individuals from the school.

Alerts are active at seven other Grande Prairie schools as of Feb. 28, including GP Comp, Riverstone, Parkside Montessori, St. Clement, Ecole St. Gerard, Swanavon and Grande Prairie Christian School..

There are also four schools in Grande Prairie under an outbreak status with between five and nine cases identified within individuals at the school, including Ecole Montrose, Alexander Forbes, St. Catherine and Charles Spencer High School.

Two other schools, École Nouvelle Frontière and Hillcrest Christian School, are also under an outbreak status, but have recorded 10 or more cases.
