AHS to hold North Zone COVID-19 Community Conversation Tuesday evening

Mar 8, 2021 | 2:51 PM

Alberta Health Services will host a virtual discussion about COVID-19 with the public on Tuesday evening.

AHS’ North Zone COVID-19 Community Conversation will provide residents in Northern Alberta more information about the novel coronavirus.

The event will be led by Medical Officer of Health and Co-Chair of AHS’ Vaccine Task Force, Dr. Kristin Klein, who will provide an update on the status of COVID-19 on the national, provincial, and regional levels.

Klein will also discuss AHS’ response to the pandemic, including the vaccine rollout and safety measures in place around vaccinations.

The virtual discussion will also provide the public with an opportunity to have their questions answered by AHS, though questions need to be submitted in advance.

Registration is required for the event, and those interested in tuning in to the COVID-19 Community Conversation can follow this link to register. Questions can be submitted during the registration process, or by emailing community.engagement@ahs.ca.

The virtual event will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
