Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday – turn clocks ahead before bed

Mar 13, 2021 | 7:00 AM

Clocks in Alberta will spring forward early Sunday morning as Daylight Saving Time begins.

On Sunday, March 14, clocks will move forward one hour at 2:00 a.m., moving the clock ahead to 3:00 a.m.

The B.C. Peace Region, including Dawson Creek and Fort St. John, will remain on Mountain Standard Time, meaning they will once again be an hour behind Grande Prairie and the rest of Alberta.

Saskatchewan will remain on Central Standard Time, meaning they will be on the same time as Alberta.

Daylight Saving Time will come to an end on November 7, 2021.
