Active COVID-19 cases drop to 160 in Grande Prairie as seven new cases identified
The City of Grande Prairie added seven new cases of COVID-19 and 19 recoveries, dropping the active case total in the city to 160 as of the end of day Monday.
It is the fifth consecutive day the active case total in the city has declined, after sitting at 204 as of the end of day March 10.
The County of Grande Prairie added no new cases and five recoveries, lowering the active caseload there to 66.
Across Alberta, there were 355 new cases reported. Dr. Deena Hinshaw says the province’s positivity rate sits at approximately 5.9 per cent.
