Peace Regional RCMP investigating vandalism incidents

Mar 17, 2021 | 6:11 PM

Peace Regional RCMP say they are investigating several vandalism incidents in the Town of Peace River.

Mounties say that vandals struck businesses and other properties along 102 Avenue between 78 and 82 Streets between 2:20 and 2:30 Wednesday morning.

Windows in one business were damaged and windows were shot out of several parked vehicles. Police think a pellet gun was used.

RCMP are looking for two suspects. Security footage shows both were wearing dark pants and tops. One was wearing a lighter-colour hoodie underneath their top layer and was carrying a light-colour grocery bag.

Anyone who might have seen anything or knows anything about this is asked to call Peace Regional RCMP at 780-624-6677. Anyone who wants to stay anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com, or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
