County on track to complete Spring Creek Road repairs this year; detour remains

The County of Grande Prairie says repairs to Spring Creek Road are partially completed and are on track to be completed this construction season.

Crews have installed the bridge culvert on Township Road 711 between Range Roads 71 and 72. The County anticipates though that on-site work will pause shortly as wet spring conditions draw nearer.

They add work will continue once conditions have dried up, with repairing and paving of the road on track to be completed this year, weather dependant.

Drivers are asked to detour around the current closure using Township Road 712, Range Road 73, Township Road 710, and Range Road 71. Traffic over one tonne must detour using Range Road 72A and Highway 43.
