Beaverlodge RCMP have laid charges against a 51-year-old Grande Prairie man for sexual offences that allegedly occurred between 2019 and 2020, and authorities say there could potentially be more victims and witnesses out there.

RCMP say they launched an investigation immediately after receiving a report of the allegations from a youth victim in August of 2020. The RCMP General Investigation Section and Edmonton Zebra Centre assisted in the investigation.

Police say they were not able to locate the suspect initially, which led to a warrant being issued for the arrest of Allan Amigable Salud. Authorities say they arrested the 51-year-old Salud on February 15.

Salud has been charged with sexual interference, sexual assault and obtain sexual services from a person under the age of 18.

Authorities say Salud has been released from custody following a judicial interim hearing and is next scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on April 14.

RCMP believe their could be more victims and witnesses, and are asking anyone with information in regards to this investigation to come forward to the Beaverlodge RCMP at 780-354-2955.
