Grande Prairie RCMP is asking the public for assistance in identifying and locating two robbery suspects.

On March 11 at around 12:45 a.m., a man and woman entered the Circle K on 99 Ave and 96 St, where they began arguing with the lone employee, police say.

The man then allegedly assaulted the employee and stole several items before fleeing the scene with the woman on foot.

The employee suffered minor physical injuries during the assault.

RCMP, along with Police Dog services, searched the area soon after but the suspects could not be found.

The male suspect is described as Indigenous with black hair and a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black ball cap, a black shirt with a white design/writing on it, blue jeans, and a black and grey jacket.

The woman is described as Indigenous with long black hair and a medium build. She was wearing a black jacket and red plaid pants at the time of the incident.
