New COVID-19 cases confirmed at two PWPSD schools

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division says new COVID-19 cases have been identified at two schools.
The school division says the new cases, one of which was located at the Clairmont Community School and the other at Peace Wapiti Academy, were confirmed by Alberta Health Services on Thursday, April 8.
The individual associated with Clairmont was last in the school on Tuesday, March 30, while the individual linked to PWA was last in the school on Thursday, April 1.
PWPSD says the schools have been cleaned and disinfected, and letters have been sent to families at PWA. The school divisions ays letters were not required for the families at Clairmont, as all close contacts are already isolating due to a previous case.
