Crews from four County of Grande Prairie fire services stations responded to a fire at Whispering Ridge school in the north end of Grande Prairie.

The report came in around 5:30 Sunday morning, with crews from the Dunes, Clairmont, Sexsmith, and Wembley fire halls responding to fire and smoke coming from beneath the portable classrooms at the back of the school.
