COVID-19 cases mean County of Grande Prairie offices remain closed

Apr 16, 2021 | 2:50 PM

The County of Grande Prairie says COVID-19 cases among staff members mean its offices will remain closed for the time being.

County residents can still connect with the County through its website any day or time or by phone at 780-532-9722 during regular business hours.

The Administration office and Public Works building have been closed since March 30.

Alberta Health Services is working with the County on contact tracing. The County’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Plan is still in place.

“I know the past year has been difficult.,” said Reeve Leanne Beaupre, in a release. “We need to stick it out just a little bit longer and follow provincial public health measures for the wellbeing of our communities.

“Please continue to support each other and reach out to connect to your neighbours. We will get through this together.”
