Grande Prairie walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinic open through Friday

Apr 28, 2021 | 2:17 PM

The Alberta Health Services website says the walk-in Covid-19 vaccination clinic in Grande Prairie will be open through Friday, April 30.

Hours will be daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Teresa Sargent Hall at the Montrose Cultural Centre.

This is only for the AstraZeneca/Covishield vaccine. All Albertans over age 40 with no chronic conditions are eligible for this shot.

Walk-ins were first being accepted at the Teresa Sargent Hall clinic on April 21, and had been originally scheduled to be offered until April 28. Only the clinic in Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray are still offering walk-ins for the AstraZeneca/Covishield as of Wednesday.
