Storm wind down home schedule with split against Crusaders

The Grande Prairie Storm drew a close to the home portion of their 2020-21 schedule by welcoming the Sherwood Park Crusaders for a pair of games.
On Friday night, both Nathaniel Bierd and MAx Giangualano scored in the shootout, with Giangualano’s marker in the fifth round proving to be the winner in a 4-3 triumph.
Ethan Strang with a pair and Robert Pizzey with his first career AJHL goal scored for the Storm during regulation time, while joe Howe picked up the win in goal.
It was a different story on Saturday though, as Sherwood Park scored three unanswered to defeat the Storm 4-1.
