Red Earth Creek woman charged with murder after death of Gift Lake man

High Prairie RCMP say a 38-year-old woman has been charged with second degree murder after the death of a 48-year-old man at the Gift Lake Metis Settlement.
Tara Rita Auger of Red Earth Creek is due in court May 31 after the death of Russell Lawrence Lamouche of Gift Lake.
Mounties say they were called to a Gift Lake home just before 7 p.m. May 19 after a report from a neighbour of a disturbance.
They got another call just before 8 p.m. while on route about a stabbing at the same residence.
