Kinuso group wins $250k in lottery

A group of seven co-workers from the Kinuso area are splitting $250,000 in lottery winnings.

Clifford Hunt found out his group’s Lotto 6/49 ticket matched all seven of the EXTRA numbers ticket in the April 28 draw.

“I was surprised,” Hunt told the Western Canadian Lottery Corp. “Everyone is really surprised.”

Hunt shares the winnings with his co-workers Terry Dow, Robert Vanrootselaar, Katherin Hunt, Sherida Labby, Jean Sheldon and Leona Niawchuk.

The winnings will be split seven ways, and Hunt says he has some ideas of how he will spend his $35,714.
