Fire advisory lifted for Grande Prairie Forest Area

The fire advisory has been lifted for the Grande Prairie Forest Area.
Alberta Agriculture and Forestry says this is because of precipitation, cooler temperatures, light winds. and high humidity’s in the forecast for this week.
The wildfire hazard is rated moderate.
Since March 1, 40 wildfires in the Grande Prairie Forest Area have burned 61 hectares.
