Motorcyclist sent to hospital following collision along Highway 668 Tuesday

One person has been sent to hospital with serious injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a bus along Highway 668 between Highway 40 and Resources Road Tuesday.

Grande Prairie RCMP say the collision happened along the Correction Line, west of Range Road 61, where preliminary investigation suggests the motorcycle was travelling eastbound when it collided with a bus that turned west onto Highway 668.

Authorities say the driver of the motorcycle was taken by EMS to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and occupants of the bus were not injured.

Grande Prairie RCMP, along with an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.
